Today we talk about a recipe for preparing crostini with ham, very easy to make at home.
With very few ingredients you will bring to your table a delicious and light appetizer greatly appreciated by all.
We used the sweet ham that goes perfectly with the mild but unmistakable flavor of fresh mozzarella, which when melted, gives to the dish the right softness.
You can propose this food, both as rustic appetizer, accompanied by vegetables than as a single dish served with tasty salad.

- 100 g bread french baguette
- 4 slice ham Italian
- 120 g Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsn olive oil extra virgin

- Place the fresh mozzarella on a cutting board (1), then with a knife, slice it initially, then divide every single slice into two parts, and finally made small squares (2). Leave the cheese on a flat plate (3).
- Take the fresh ham slices and place them on a clean cutting board (4), then divide each piece into three parts (5). Leave aside on a small plate (6).
- Now place the baguettes on the same cutting board (7) and with a knife, begin to cut the slices for a thickness of one centimeter and a half (8). place the slices on the bottom of a circular casserole dish (9).
- Now put the bread to toast in a preheated oven at 140° C for about five minutes (10), and once ended the cooking time, take out from the oven (11). Let cool for a minute and place them on a cutting board (12).
- Now put the ham slices on top (13) of the crostini and then add over the mozzarella that you work previously (14), repeating the same operation for all the croutons available. Once topped all of them, place back in the baking pan, and add oil over each crostino, using a spoon (15). Bake again at 140° C for about five minutes, the time required to melt the mozzarella. Once ready, serve the crostini ham on the table piping hot, accompanying the dish with a young red wine.
