The crostini sausage and stracchino cheese is a very simple and quick recipe, to serve as a tasty appetizer, accompanied with dry red wine.
The bread croutons made with pork and stracchino are very popular, thanks to this cheese with a delicate flavor. The problem is find out on the market abroad, while in Italy is sold everywhere.
If you cannot find the stracchino, try to use another fresh and light cheese, soft and spreadable.

- 4 slices bread
- 100 g sausage of pork
- 50 g Stracchino cheese

Instructions
- Place the sausages on a cutting board (1) and make a cut on the skin for its entire length to be easy remove the skin by your hands (2). The cut the meat without skin into pieces of about half a centimeter thick (3) and leave aside.
- Take a bowl and add the fresh stracchino (4), then add the sausage (5) and with a fork mash the meat and the cheese (6) and stir simultaneously, up to have a homogeneous mixture.
- Make how many slices of bread you want and place them on a baking tray (7), to bake in a preheated oven at 140°C for about ten minutes (8) turning the slices. Then take off from oven (9).
- Place the baked slices of bread on the chopping board (10), and spread on top the stracchino and sausage mixture (11), covering each single slice. Take the croutons and place them again on the baking tray. Than bake again for another five minutes at 120°C (12). Then serve hot on table.
