The homemade pizza, is always very appreciated by all. You can propose this recipe for a dinner with friends, or as a snack for your children.
In Italy, the recipes for making pizza are many, and each region has its plate according also to the culinary traditions of the place.
If you want to embellish this recipe by adding other ingredients, we recommend the anchovies for instance, or of good Italian ham.
A pizza portion of 200 grams, has a full plate, can be safely consumed once a week, accompanying it with good beer, both light and dark.
Like for the other recipes of pizza, we add the milk in the ingredients. This is because the domestic oven we have in our houses, are not so powerful like the professional one in pizzeria. The cooking is longer, and with the milk (not used in a professional pizzeria), we can keep the pizza or the focaccia soft, avoiding the risk to have a food dry and overcoocked. If you have at home a professional oven for pizza, do not use milk as ingredient.
- Take a bowl and pour inside the flour (1), after join the water (2) and milk (3), together with the sugar.
- Now melt, in a cup of warm water, the yeast for pizza (4) by mixing thoroughly until complete dissolution with a teaspoon. After this step, join it with the other ingredients in the bowl (5) and join the extra virgin olive oil (6).
- Now with his hands start to knead the flour with the other ingredients (7), until the mixture has a smooth and homogeneous consistent form a ball (8). Let the dough rise in planetary for about four hours, covering it with a clean cotton cloth (9).
- After the leavening time, oil with the extra virgin olive oil (10) the bottom of a roasting pan, where you place a part of the dough and start to roll it with your hands (11) and once covered the whole bottom, pour on the dough the tomato pulp (12).
- With a spoon, evenly distributed the tomato pulp (13), then add salt at your will (14) and put the pizza to cook in a preheated oven at 150° C for about twenty minutes (15).
- After the first cooking of homemade pizza, remove from oven (16) and add the grated mozzarella cheese evenly with your hands (17) and finish cooking by putting the pizza in the oven again (18) to melt the mozzarella for about five minutes. Once ready, take out from oven, cut it into squares, and serve piping hot at table, accompanying the dish with a cold beer.
