Lasagna with shrimps is a simple recipe classical of these preparations, but making a white sauce slightly different where you will put the vegetable broth instead of milk. Try it when you feel like the sea in the flavor of your lasagna.
Instructions
- Begin the recipe by washing well the zucchini (1) to use one half. Put it on a dry cutting board and cut it in two for the length and then cut each individual part in semi-slice (2). then put on a saucer (3) apart.
- Washed the cherry tomatoes (4) and place them on dry cutting board. Cut them into quarters and remove the water plant (5), leaving only the pulp. Then put in a small dish (6) apart.
- Now started to prepare the ingredients for the sauce. Peel the half onion chop it (7) finely. Then peel the garlic and chop (8) well. Then pour five tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (9) in a large non-stick frying pan and let it heat over medium heat.
- When the oil is hot, add the onion (10) and garlic (11) and fry just enough to brown them. So add also the zucchini (12) and start cooking them.
- Cook the zucchini should last about 15 minutes in total. After a couple of minutes even add the peeled shrimp (13), then finely chop the parsley (14) after having carefully washed and join it (15) to zucchini. Continue to add flavor occasionally stirring and continue cooking over medium heat.
- After a couple of minutes even add the chopped tomatoes pulp (16) and then mix well (17). Add a pinch of salt and then turn off the heat to put everything in a bowl (18) apart.
- In this recipe it will create a different Besciamella sauce than usual, with the broth instead of milk. Then proceed as usual by melting the butter (19) in a very sweet in small pan on low fire. Once melted add the flour (20) and mix well with a whisk to create the roux. So you begin to add the hot stock (21), and stir constantly with a whisk in order to thicken the sauce to the desired point.
- Once ready the sauce put them in a bowl (22) separately and then join it with the zucchini and shrimps (23), then stir well (24) with a spoon.
- In the meantime you will have put in boiling salted water to boil the sheets. Dip (25) in the water and cook for about five minutes and then remove them from the water and put to dry (26) on a clean cloth. Finally grease the bottom of a small baking casserole and then place on a sheet of lasagna (27).
- Then with a spoon started to take the stuffing (zucchini and shrimps) on top (28) of the lasagna sheet. Once you paved the first layer resting on another sheet (29) and again with a filling layer (30).
- Finish off the layers until finishing the sheets of pasta and finally put on the last sheet, the last filling layer (31). Then bake (32) in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Once ready, take out (33) and serve immediately on the table piping hot.
